Current Positions:

 

Software Controls Engineer

The candidate will have the ability to design and develop PC and PLC based press controls including equipment selection, programming, testing, field start-up and customer training.  Will be able to make decisions on electrical hardware and software component selection and configuration, using standard components and open architecture hardware and software. Will have a working knowledge of industrial, pneumatic, electronic control, and safety systems. Will have the knowledge to oversee installation, start-up, and testing to see that equipment is installed and functioning according to specification. BS in Electrical Engineering. A minimum of five years experience in design and development of machine tool control applications.  Familiar with AutoCad®. 
 

Service Technician

This candidate will be responsible for technical service duties required for customers or prospective customers.  These duties will include machine installation, operation, and maintenance training.  The individual will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, software components, and systems for all products. The individual will have a strong knowledge of automation systems and PLC/PC based systems. Must have three to five years troubleshooting and servicing electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and equipment installation, operation, maintenance, repair, retrofitting, rebuilding, and remanufacturing of complex hydraulic machinery and heavy mechanical equipment. Domestic and international travel from 40% to 60% of work year, trips 2 to 4 weeks or longer.  Two years programming and troubleshooting PLC and PC based control systems including Allen Bradley RSLogix® (5500 and 5000), PanelView and RSView® 32 software.  Prior field service experience/exposure is required.  A two-year degree in electrical, electronics or hydraulics is a plus with a secondary school diploma with a related trade or technical school certification.


Manufacturing Planner/Programmer/Machine Shop Supervisor

This candidate will develop and write planning processes and computer numerical controlled machine programs to facilitate the manufacturing of parts. Will provide estimates for various sales activities. Supervise the machine shop operators, deburr helper, tool room, and inspection personnel. Will oversee that proper maintenance activities, PMs, and inspections occur to keep all machines running efficiently and capable of producing quality parts. Will make sales calls, as needed, to increase contract sales.  Prior supervisory experience/team leader is preferred.  A two year technical or Associate Degree or equivalent work experience.  Two to five year experience in practical machining as an NC Operator is required.  


Control Systems Technician 
The candidate will plan and lay-out electrical installations.  Perform program maintenance and logic.  Install controls, assist in testing  and making modifications to controls, as requred, to meet Engineering requirements and schedules.  Assist field service technicians.  Perform maintenance on in-house CNC controls.  Provide technical evaluations of rebuild requirements via on-site customer inspections.  Provide technicial assistance in writing service manuals, as required.  Assist on the assembly floor, as required.  Will be required to travel on installations, rebuilds, and service.  Technical degree or Associates Degree or Equivalent.  


Sales Application Engineer

This candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of technical sales/support duties for the Sales Manager and current and prospective customers.  Review customer specifications to determine equipment features and special requirements and relay this information to Engineering Department.  Convert engineering estimates into sales proposals/quotations to maximize sales and margin growth.  Must be able to participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations. Able to prepare powerpoint sales presentations. Have excellent communication skills, organizational skills,  use independent judgment, and have problem-solving capabilities.  Candidate should have contract language knowledge and negotiating skills.  Domestic and international travel, as required. Candidate should have mechanical aptitude, a minimum of 5 years fluid power sales experience, a working knowledge of assembly, fabrication, power units, lubrication systems, and electrica/electronic controls. Four year engineering degree or equivalent.  

 

Purchasing Project Coordinator 

The candidate will perform various supportive duties across various departments in the operations area of the business.  This position provides assistance to the VP of Operations, as well as, the Purchasing, Production Control, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, and Accounting Departments.  Some of the tasks will be clerical, safety and regulatory support, information research, creating reports, and using the ERP system.  This individual must maintain confidentiality in all matters. Additional responsibilities would include: answering the Company telephone systems, as needed, arranging meetings, luncheons, etc. Individual must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 1 to 3 years clerical experience, knowledge of Word, Excel, Project or other business software is a plus.  Purchasing and manufacturing exposure/experience is helpful.
