From simple, stand alone presses to highly complex and integrated press systems, ERIE typically assembles and tests at our facility. Projects frequently include installation and start-up supervision, operator and maintenance training as well as post start up Services support.

ERIE project managers, with total responsibility for each customer order, interface with all departments and have overall project responsibility including: communications, critical path scheduling, technical review meetings, teleconferencing, web interactive conferencing, and video conferencing.

Engineering
Engineering includes mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical design for complex integrated forging and forming systems. Projects range from FEA (finite element analysis) to hydraulic controls, electrical/electronic controls, tool & process development, plant layouts, foundations, and contract engineering.
Engineering software includes AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Electrical, Cadra, Pro/Engineer, Mathcad, Ansys, and proprietary development software.
Facilities
162,000 square feet of manufacturing space with 125,000 square feet dedicated to fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing. High bays and assembly pits to 22 feet deep allow assembly of large structures with an overall height of 52 feet. Our overhead cranes accommodate handling large components to 300,000 pounds. The facility is accessible for truck or rail shipment.
