Carbon Compacting

Carbon Compacting Presses offer an economical solution for production of the highest quality carbon anodes and other compacted products. Production rates are typically twice that of conventional vibratory methods. Capital costs, including foundation and system equipment requirements, are favorable when compared to vibrocompacting. Costly environmental issues are minimized using our pressing technology. Noise is reduced to OSHA acceptable levels and can be isolated away from the operator area. Structural vibrations and damage are eliminated due to the absence of vibrating parts. Lower processing temperatures, which reduce volatile PAH emissions during the process cycle, require only air (waterless) anode cooling.
